Rita,

Welcome, I hope that you find my blog helpful. The Prayer of Jabez is a great book isn't it? I think we always have to be mindful when we ask God to bless us by expanding our business because of whom much is given much is required. It takes very strong faith to be able to handle being greatly blessed by God. It sounds like you have the right attitude.

Brad

I just discovered your blog. As a Christian Entrepreneur, this is a great post. I, too, have read the Prayer of Jabez. What stood out for me was when a business owner asked if it's right to ask God for more business, and the author, Bruce Wilkerson, answered yes, if you are operating your business the way God would. Every business decision I make, I ask is this God's way? My desire is to glorify God through my business.

Rita J. Cartwright, Owner
RJ's Word Processing Services
http://rjswordprocessing.com
866-651-3073

Corrie,

I've only recently discovered the value of this passage. I love how you can still find new insight in something familiar that you have read time and time again.

Brad

I love the Old Testament. I spend much more time there than in the NT. And the fact that the Lord had Moses highlight the choice of Belzalel and Oholiab has always fascinated me. Just like I've always been fascinated with Jabez....long before the Prayer of Jabez came out. Great post and comments.

Leon,

I liked that video. I will have to check out the other videos they have done. The outline goes very well with Bezalel too. There seems to be several posts that can come from just that one passage.

Brad
